VWFS offers Black Friday deals on service plans

Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) is offering Black Friday deals on service plans, with offers going live on November 14.

The company is offering 25% of service plans to customers who drive a Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, Cupra or Volkswagen commercial vehicle up to 15 years old – including electric car customers.

Audi customers can also get 25% off all service plans for vehicles up to 15 years old, including new and used car service plans, e-Tron plans, as well as a 25% discount on aftercare package, All-in.

James Taylor, head of product (non-asset based) at Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) UK, said: “I’m delighted that we’re able to offer customers these Black Friday discounts and I’m sure there are many bargain hunters out there who will be taking advantage of these offers.

“Our collective ambition has always been to make ownership as easy and simple for as many people as possible and we always welcome the opportunity to work with our network partners to produce compelling finance and aftersales products for customers.

“The beauty of the All-in aftercare plan, which we created in conjunction with the brands of Volkswagen Group UK, is that it offers simplicity, affordability and customer convenience.”

Car retailers must rethink their customer propositions to offer greater financial security to cash-strapped customers, according to RAC Dealer Network.

VWFS is forecasting it will activate 810,000 ‘inflation-proof’ service plans this year as it helps customers tackle affordability issues in the current economic climate.

Its data insight team also reports that 76% of customers who have bought an online service plan this year have chosen to pay for this product in monthly instalments, reflecting the demand for affordable mobility solutions.

Franchised dealers who fail to sell cars with service plans are losing one-in-five customers to independent garages for servicing work, research by JudgeService has revealed.

VWFS said the winter event will run until December 12.
